ਸੋਹੰ ਸੋ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਹੈ ਜਾਪ

ਸੋ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡਿ ਪਿੰਡਿ ਸੋ ਜਾਨੁ ॥ सो ब्रहमंडि पिंडि सो जानु ॥ So barahmand pind so jaan. Know that He is in the universe, and in the body as well.

ਮਾਨ ਸਰੋਵਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਇਸਨਾਨੁ ॥ मान सरोवरि करि इसनानु ॥ Maan sarovar kar isnaan. Take your cleansing bath in the Mansarovar Lake.

ਸੋਹੰ ਸੋ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਹੈ ਜਾਪ ॥ सोहं सो जा कउ है जाप ॥ Sohaⁿ so jaa ka▫o hæ jaap. Chant “Sohan” - “He is me.

ਜਾ ਕਉ ਲਿਪਤ ਨ ਹੋਇ ਪੁੰਨ ਅਰੁ ਪਾਪ ॥੬॥ जा कउ लिपत न होइ पुंन अरु पाप ॥६॥ Jaa ka▫o lipaṫ na ho▫é punn ar paap. ||6|| He is not affected by either virtue or vice. ||6||

ਅਬਰਨ ਬਰਨ ਘਾਮ ਨਹੀ ਛਾਮ ॥ अबरन बरन घाम नही छाम ॥ Abran baran gʰaam nahee chʰaam. He is not affected by either high or low social class, sunshine or shade.

ਅਵਰ ਨ ਪਾਈਐ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਸਾਮ ॥ अवर न पाईऐ गुर की साम ॥ Avar na paa▫ee▫æ gur kee saam. He is in the Guru’s Sanctuary, and nowhere else.

ਟਾਰੀ ਨ ਟਰੈ ਆਵੈ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥ टारी न टरै आवै न जाइ ॥ Taaree na taræ aavæ na jaa▫é. He is not diverted by diversions, comings or goings.

ਸੁੰਨ ਸਹਜ ਮਹਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੭॥ सुंन सहज महि रहिओ समाइ ॥७॥ Sunn sahj mėh rahi▫o samaa▫é. ||7|| Remain intuitively absorbed in the celestial void. ||7||

ਮਨ ਮਧੇ ਜਾਨੈ ਜੇ ਕੋਇ ॥ मन मधे जानै जे कोइ ॥ Man maḋʰé jaanæ jé ko▫é. One who knows the Lord in the mind -

ਜੋ ਬੋਲੈ ਸੋ ਆਪੈ ਹੋਇ ॥ जो बोलै सो आपै होइ ॥ Jo bolæ so aapæ ho▫é. whatever he says, comes to pass.

ਜੋਤਿ ਮੰਤ੍ਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਅਸਥਿਰੁ ਕਰੈ ॥ जोति मंत्रि मनि असथिरु करै ॥ Joṫ manṫar man asṫʰir karæ. One who firmly implants the Lord’s Divine Light, and His Mantra within the mind-

ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਾਨੀ ਤਰੈ ॥੮॥੧॥ कहि कबीर सो प्रानी तरै ॥८॥१॥ Kahi Kabeer so paraanee ṫaræ. ||8||1|| says Kabir, such a mortal crosses over to the other side. ||8||1||
